George Joseph, PT, DPT, OCS
Co-Owner
George has been practicing Physical Therapy since 2011. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. He finds it very rewarding working with his patients especially when they share with him how physical therapy has impacted the quality of their lives and created a permanent change in the way they live. George loves spending time with his wife and family when not at work and is an avid sports fan and golfer, in his spare time.
Judit Sterbinsky, PTA, CSCS
Physical Therapist Assistant
Born in Papa, Hungary, Judit moved to the United States to Sarasota at the age of thirteen. She attended Stage College of Florida and the University of West Florida on a volleyball scholarship where she earned a B.S. in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine followed by a PTA degree from Keiser University in 2016. She then became a certified strength and conditioning specialist/CSCS. Her passion for working with people and assisting with their healthy movement has led her to the field of physical therapy, where she encourages patients to get in sync with their bodies and to facilitate their own healing. Judit enjoys yoga, cross-fit, outdoor adventures, reading and self-development.
Marco Machado, PTA, CPT
Physical Therapist Assistant
Born and raised in Kent, Ohio, Marco attended Kent State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2000. After years successfully managing a Nutrition store, he went back to school and received his Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting in 2016. He began working part-time with Rick Haupt Physical Therapy in 2016 and transitioned to a full-time position with Venice Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in 2017. On his down time, Marco enjoys staying physically fit through exercise, personal training and practicing martial arts.
Faith McCormack, PT
Physical Therapist
Faith was born in Pennsylvania but has lived in ‘da Bronx, New York, upstate New York, Connecticut and Tennessee. She attended Ithaca College for Physical Therapy in upstate New York. Faith “landed” in Sarasota almost 4 years ago and has worked the Venice Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine since February 2019. Her hobbies include flying, riding dessage, diving and running. She is also NDT Certified.
Irene Zaman
Receptionist
Irene was born in Hackensack, New Jersey and grew up in Greenwood Lake, New York. She moved to Venice, Florida in 1998 and completed her Medical Administrative Specialist program at Charlotte Technical Institute, Port Charlotte, Florida. She has been working the front desk at Venice Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine since September of 2017. Her hobbies include baking and crafts.
